Serendipity

"Making happy discoveries whilst looking for other things"

I've been off to Berwick-Upon-Tweed to set up in a space in the lovely Serendipity.

Berwick is a walled town in the Northumberland, just a short and scenic 45 minute journey from Newcastle. I love that train journey, Berwick is where my closest family live, and I can't make the journey without feeling a sense of homecoming.

The lighthouse is the first thing you glimpse as the train hurtles along the cliff tops...
Followed by a view of the town and its famous 3 bridges...
But my absolute favourite bit.... if I look carefully, Grandma and Grandad's house! x

Back to the shop...!
The weather wasn't as nice as the first picture...
But inside was bright clean and filled with exciting things.

Serendipity is part of an initiative in Berwick to get businesses into empty shops. In a prime location on the high street, where Bell's bookshop used to be, Serendipity is now a haven for handmade and crafted items, from jewellery to fine art prints and painting. The shop is for local Artisans, and it's fantastic to see so many creative people joining together to create such a wonderful space....
So just a few pictures of my stand...
I have a small space as it will be difficult for me to find time to get to over with new stock, but I made sure it was jam packed with goodies!

Pop in if you happen to be in Berwick or check out Serendipity's Facebook page by clicking here x

October

I love October, things settle down after the summer season. The leaves transform into a wonderful cacophony of colour, and when they eventually drop I love the crisp crunch as you walk along. But perhaps most important, October gives me a few weeks to catch my breath before the manic Christmas making and selling frenzy begins. Time we'll spent with family and friends xx

Handmade Wedding

We could not have had the truly amazing day with out the help from family and friends but I just want to share some images and links from the talented and wonderful people and companies who helped make our day beautiful.
